Novosibirsk chemical concentrate plant (NZKhK) needs more billion RUB for decommission of old shop for reprocessing uranium.
According to the plans, this harmful production shoul be decommissioned in 2010. The directorship of NZKhK hopes to receive the support of federal Rostechnadzor.
Decommission of this production is not just closing and demolition. There is a special program of reprocessing and utilization of radioactive equipment, which is estimated more one billion RUB.
CEO of NZKhK plant Vladimir Razin told: "Now the federal program for radiation safety is under development. It provides a financing. We hope for positive decision on our facility, on decommission uranium reprocessing".
