Deputy head of the Russian federal atomic energy agency (FAEA) Andrey Malyshev taking part in the 9th meeting of the CIS member -states commission for peaceful use of civil nuclear power told that Russia is interested in construction of NPP in Belorussia.
According to Malyshev this interest is due to several factors. Firstly, "we have the single technological base, base of fundamental science, educational base. Secondly, Belorussia is our strategic partner", - he noted.
As Belorussia government decides to construct NPP, "Russia will do his best to take part in this project", - emphasizes Malyshev.
